Hello Jets,

As an English Language teacher, I believe learning a language is more than vocabulary and grammar. Language is a bridge to culture, identity, and connection. It carries the stories, traditions, and values of a community, helping students expand their world.

This semester, in my ACT Prep class, students will strengthen their skills in English, Math, and Writing, practice test-taking strategies, and learn how to analyze and answer questions efficiently. We will use data from previous assessments, like PreACT scores, to identify strengths and areas for growth, helping each student focus on what matters most for improvement.

My goal is to support English Learners as they build confidence, develop academic language, and take pride in their own linguistic and cultural backgrounds. I’m excited to learn and grow alongside our students this year!
