Ms. Kennedy

Hello Jets! This is my first year as a teacher, and I am SO excited to start my teaching career at JCHS.

Before teaching, I went to the University of Alabama and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology. After school, I worked for nine months as an education outreach coordinator at the Office of Archaeological Research in Moundville Archeological park. After realizing how passionate I was about teaching children, I decided to go back to school to pursue a career in education. In May 2020, I graduated from UAH with my Master of Arts in Teaching for secondary biology.

My hobbies include hiking, learning to play guitar, sewing, watching Youtube, and taking care of all of my pets.

This year, I will be teaching biology and astronomy. I am excited to take flight as a new pilot.
