The National Honor Society (NHS) celebrates students' commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These four pillars have been associated with membership in the organization since its inception at JCHS in 2011.
The JCHS NHS Chapter encourages all students in grades 10-12 who want to achieve excellence in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership, and service to apply for membership.
- 3.7 cumulative weighted GPA is required
- 20HRS of community service on a volunteer basis for a non-profit organization.
- Payment of annual dues.
