Courtney Lanza received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Secondary Education English Language Arts from Troy University in 2012 and a Masters Degree in Human Services Counseling from Liberty University in 2015.  Although born and raised in a small town in southern Alabama, Mrs. Lanza moved to the Hunstville area after graduating with honors from Troy and began her career with the Madison County School System in 2013 as an English teacher, cheer coach, and club sponsor. She was also named Teacher of the Year in 2017. Courtney and her husband Paul have two incredible children, Brenson and Elora, and a loveable Golden Retreiver named Dapper. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, exercising, spending time with family and friends, and scoping out fun, local coffee shops to do a bit of writing.
