Hi! My name is Kayla Brown and I am looking forward to the 2024-2025 school year! I began teaching here at JCHS in the fall of 2014 and will be starting my eleventh year. I have taught a variety of computer science and mathematics classes throughout the years.

I attended The University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) for my undergraduate degree. I loved Tuscaloosa so much, I decided to pursue my graduate degree there too. I graduated with my master’s degree in 2014. 

I am married to my husband, Daniel, and we have been blessed with a wonderful son, James! Outside of teaching, I love to cook, run, and spend time with my family and friends!
