Hello! I am a math teacher here at James Clemens High School.  I have my B.S. in mathematics from Mississippi State University, and my M.A.T. in secondary math education from UWA. My core beliefs are: 

(1) Every student can learn math with the right support and encouragement.

(2) It's okay to get a question wrong because that's how you learn and grow.

(3) I am here to guide students in learning how to learn.

I am married to my wonderful husband, Noah. In my free time, I can be found on stage with Fantasy Playhouse Children's Theatre, Athenian Players and other community theaters. I love how both math and theater encourage me to use my creative and critical thinking skills.
