• Welcome to the ACT Prep course! This course is designed for 11th-grade English Learners (ELs) to prepare for the ACT while continuing to develop academic English proficiency. Instruction focuses on the ACT English and Math sections, with targeted practice on common question types that frequently appear on the exam. For the English section, students will focus on mastering key grammar rules essential for success on the ACT. The math component emphasizes essential concepts from Geometry, Algebra I, and Algebra II through explicit instruction and guided practice. Lessons are scaffolded to support EL students through integrated language and content objectives, test-taking strategies, and academic skill development.
