Hello and welcome! I'm Ms. Beale, and I am beyond excited to have you in my English class! With over 22 years of teaching experience in the Madison City School System, I’ve had the privilege of guiding students in subjects like language arts, Freshman Composition, and Career Preparation at both the middle and high school levels.

Outside of Madison City Schools, I’ve also taught Freshman Composition at the University of Alabama A&M, where I earned my Master of Education and Bachelor of Science degrees in Secondary Education/Language Arts. Additionally, I’ve enjoyed teaching online remedial English classes at Oakwood University in Huntsville.

On a more personal note, my two children are proud graduates of the Madison City School System, and family time is a big priority for us. Whether we’re playing word games like Scrabble, having cozy movie nights, or traveling to exciting new destinations, we always make the most of our time together.

When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll likely find me absorbed in a good book or experimenting in the kitchen. I love drawing on my Caribbean and Canadian heritage to create flavorful dishes that reflect my cultural roots.
