Hello! I'm Mrs. Stoecker and I am excited to be your social studies teacher! This is my 12th year in the classroom. From 2014-2023, I taught World History, Honors World History, PreAP World History, AP World History, and Dual Credit World History in Memphis, TN. In 2023, I got married and my husband and I moved to Athens, AL. In the 2023-2024 school year, I taught 8th grade World History and PreAP World History at Liberty Middle School. This is my 2nd flight as a Jet and I am thrilled to teach AP World History and World History again!

In my free time (which I have very little of since welcoming my daughter in January 2025), I like to spend time with my family and dogs, read, and travel. My husband works for a major airline, so seeing the places I teach about is a perk of his job.

PS - The o in Stoecker is silent. My last name is pronounced Stecker.
