Hello! I'm Mrs. Stoecker and I am excited to be your social studies teacher! This is my 11th year in the classroom. From 2014-2023, I taught World History, Honors World History, PreAP World History, AP World History, and Dual Credit World History in Memphis, TN. In 2023, I got married and my husband and I moved to Athens, AL. In the 2023-2024 school year, I taught 8th grade World History and PreAP World History at Liberty Middle School - hello again to students and parents that I got to work with last year! I am so excited to return to teaching high school. AP World History is my favorite class to teach.

In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and my four dogs, read, and travel with my husband. My husband works for a major airline, so seeing the places I teach about is a perk of his job. We're expecting our first child, a girl, in February 2025.

PS - The o in Stoecker is silent. My last name is pronounced Stecker.
