Mission: To cultivate thriving environments for success in computer science in the school community by encouraging students’ enthusiasm, honoring academic excellence, and promoting service.

Qualifications for National Computer Science Honor Society:

• Must be in 10^th, 11^th,or 12^th grade
• Must have completed Object-Oriented Programming I and Programming Foundations
• 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA (unweighted)
• 3.0 or higher GPA for Computer Science Courses 

Students interested in becoming members of the National Computer Science Honor Society must come see Mrs. Brown (Room B219) or by email to kgbrown@madisoncity.k12.al.us.

First Meeting will be Friday, September 6th first half of refuel in B219! 

New Membership is by invitation only once verification that all requirements have been met by the applicant. Invitations will be sent out by the end of August  2024 and again by the end of January 2025. The cost is $30.
