Mr. Connor Brooks
Greetings!
My name is Connor Brooks. I will be teaching Economics this year at JCHS. 2024-2025 will be my 2nd year teaching, and my first year at Madison City Schools. I was previously at Hazel Green High School. In addition to teaching social studies this year, I will be an assistant coach on the baseball staff this year.
I am from Auburn, AL and went to Benjamin Russell High School (Alexander City, AL). I then went to Central Alabama Community College where I played baseball, before transferring to the University of West Alabama to further my baseball career and earn my B.A. in History with a minor in English. I then transferred to the University of Alabama-Huntsville to finish my baseball playing career and earn my M.A. in Teaching.
Education runs in my family deeply. My parents are both lifelong educators, with my father (Richy) entering his 35th year as the head baseball coach at my high school alma mater, and my mother (Debbie) being a former elementary principal in Auburn City Schools. I also have 2 siblings. My older brother (Caleb) works for the AHSAA Radio Network and is the head baseball coach at Coosa Valley Academy, and my younger brother (Cade) is currently on the baseball team at UAH getting his degree in education.
I am excited for the school year at JCHS, and I appreciate all of your support.
Go Jets!
