Hello all! 

I am thrilled to be a new addition to the James Clemens science department. Although I am new here, this is my 5th year of teaching in high school. I have also taught bio labs and bio lectures at UAH. I recently received my Master's degree in biology from UAH. My research focused on exploring genomics of a rare plant and its close relatives. I am excited to share my knowledge with students this coming semester. 

Education is about fostering curiosity and instilling a love of learning. I hope that my enthusiasm for environmental science will create a classroom environment that allows students to not only grasp the intricacies of biology but also develop a genuine appreciation for the wonders of the natural world.

I look forward to getting to know each of you and working together to make this semester memorable and enriching.
