I am very happy to be a middle school Mathematics and Chess Instructor at Liberty Middle School!  I have over 21 years experience as a teacher.  I love helping my students and my desire is to make a positive impact in their lives and futures.  We learn math from bell to bell and stay focused on the wonder of math.  Of course we have fun while we learn.

I have a wonderful family!  My wife, JoNell and I have been married for 41 years!  We have  two daughters,  Mandy and Lindsey.  I also have a granddaughter Spencer Anne who is the light of my life.  Our household is robust with 6 adults, 1 child, 2 dogs, and a fish.

My interests include sports, music, travel, bicycling, jigsaw puzzles, and puzzles of any kind.  I enjoy watching pyschological thrillers and documentaries. 

I have taught at 2 private schools and 2 public schools.  I've been at Liberty since 2007 and have taught 7th grade math, 8th grade math, Algebra, 3D Geometry, Flight and Space, and Chess.

 I think that the 2021-2022 school year will be a great year.  I'm looking forward to working with all of my students and having loads of fun!
