I am thrilled to be a middle school Mathematics Instructor for Madison City Schools here at Liberty!  I have over 18 years experience in education and prior to that I was a corporate trainer in the Investment Field.  I love working with students  and I feel blessed to help them discover their potential both in mathematics and in their personal endeavors!

I am blessed to have a wonderful family!  My husband, Stu, and I have been married for 32 years!  We have  two children.  Jessie, my daughter, a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Organismal Biology, works for Busch Gardens as a Animal Care Specialist/Trainer for Orangutans and Tigers. Tel, my son, a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Biosystems Engineering, works for the State in the Alabama Department of Environmental Management Water Division.

We share our home with Sitka, our Alaskan Malamute.  He will be 2 years old in September and he weighs 120 lbs! Check out my photo gallery below for pics of Sitka!

My family and I love music, camping, hiking, and travel.  Some of our favorite vacation spots include Africa, Alaska, Germany, Norway, Scotland, Colorado, Sanibel Island and St. Augustine.  We also love to visit National Parks here in the US. This past summer we visited Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado! I have some fun pics below in my gallery from that trip!

My family and I shared an incredible photo safari in Africa a few years ago so look for some gorgeous Lion pictures in our classroom!!

I can't wait to share in your mathematics journey!
