I am originally from Hokes Bluff, Alabama.  I moved to Huntsville in 2009.  I am married to my college sweetheart, Michael.  We have two children, Harper and Sawyer.  You'll probably see them running around the school.   I have an energetic dog named Gus, who loves to go on walks and bark at everything.  I absolutely love reading and listening to audio books.   I am currently working on my Master's Degree with the University of West Alabama.

I am excited about being your 7th grade Civic/Geography or 8th grade World History teacher this year!  I love all things history.  I hope to bring excitement into my classroom through projects, simulations, and group activities.  Check out the Course information on the syllabus and sign up for Text Reminds.  This is how I communicate with parents and students.  I "remind" you when tests and assignments are due.  Through Remind, I also let you know of any upcoming activites or schoolwide news.
