Greetings!  My name is Karen Price.  I am teaching 6th Grade Science, Environmental Explorations, and Science Olympiad this year.  This is my 6th year as a Liberty Lion!  I have been teaching Science for 24 years so far.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Science that I received in 1995 from the University of West Georgia.  I have a Master's in Public Health degree that I received from the University of Alabama-Birmingham in 2001, and I have a Master's in School Counseling that I received from the University of North Alabama in 2013.  

I am the coach of the Science Olympiad team and the Science Bowl team.  I am also the Space Camp coordinator for 6th graders and this is my 2nd year as department chair.  

Outside of school, I like to enjoy nature as much as possible and visit estate sales to see what treasures I can find.
