Hello and welcome to 7th grade ELA! This is my second year here at Liberty Middle, and I am so excited to be part of the Lion family!

I am originally from upstate New York (Geneva), and moved to Nashville, TN about 10 years ago to attend Vanderbilt University. Here I worked on my second masters' degree in Deaf Education. On July 1st last year I married my husband and moved to Alabama. My husband and I are expecting our first child, Ramona, in September this year. We have two large lapdogs at home; German Shepherds named Sasha and Lexi. I love new adventures, baking, anything Pumpkin Spice, cold weather and winter, the Boston Red Sox, Italian food, and am learning to love the LSU Tigers (thanks to my husband)!

This will be my 12th year of teaching, and I have taught elementary, middle, and high school. Before coming to Liberty, I taught four years of 8th grade English in LaVergne, TN. At Nazareth College in Rochester, NY, I completed my undergrad in English and Education, and my first masters degree in educational technology. I taught third grade in NY for two years. I am so excited to be here at Liberty and am looking forward to a great year! Go Lions!!
