Hello, and welcome to English Language Arts! My name is Kaitlyn Harvey, and I’m excited to be your student's teacher this year. As an MCS alumna myself, I am thrilled to teach in the community that once shaped my own educational journey. 

My passion for literature and writing is matched only by my love for spending time with my family. I come from a large, close-knit family, and whether we’re hosting a big family dinner, celebrating special occasions, or just catching up, our time together is always cherished. When I’m not in the classroom or at cheer practice, you can find me hiking, going on long car rides, or enjoying sunny days with my husband and our puppy.

I believe in the transformative power of literature to open our minds and broaden our perspectives. In our class, I strive to create a dynamic and engaging environment where students can explore their own voices and talents. I’m looking forward to a year filled with discovery, growth, and a shared love for the world of literature.
