I began teaching 8th grade English at Liberty Middle School at the start of the 2018-19 school year.  Prior to teaching at Liberty, I spent several years teaching middle school in Mississippi. While in Mississippi, I obtained my master's in teaching, with a focus on middle level education, from Mississippi State. I previously received my undergraduate degree in English from the University of Alabama. As a teacher, I have experience with honors, standard, and inclusion classes.

My wife, Summer, and I moved to Mississippi in 2015 in order to earn our masters' degrees in teaching, but we always knew we would move back to this area, which we did in 2018.  Our family also includes our son, Jack, our twin girls, Autumn and Emerald, and our Shetland Sheepdog, Merlin. For fun, I enjoy reading, watching soccer (Liverpool!), and relaxing!
