My name is Madelynn Marr Ross, and I’m proud to be in my fifth year of teaching and my second year at Liberty Middle School, where I also serve as the cheer coach. I’m passionate about increasing scientific literacy and helping students grow as curious, critical thinkers through engaging, hands-on learning.

Before joining Liberty, I taught high school biology and biomedical science courses. My background also includes conducting research in partnership with Auburn University’s College of Agriculture and College of Veterinary Medicine. I hold STEM Certification through the National Institute for STEM Education (NISE) and enjoy integrating real-world applications into my classroom.

I’m also deeply passionate about leading teams, whether in the classroom or on the sidelines. Coaching cheer at Liberty has given me the opportunity to guide students through competition and a rigorous season, building both skill and character.

I graduated from Auburn University (War Eagle!) and love all things sports, especially cheering for the Chicago Bears, Atlanta Braves, and my husband’s team, the Dallas Cowboys. In my free time, I enjoy camping, biking, baking, sewing, traveling, and spending time outdoors with my husband and our one-year-old son.
