Hi there!  I am excited about being your Collaborative teacher this year! You’ll most likely see me in ELA and Math classes co-teaching along with the classroom teacher. Although this will be my 10th year in education, this is my FIRST year as a Liberty Lion! I began my career in the Birmingham area, which is also where I’m from. Most recently, I was a Reading Interventionist with Madison County Schools. Over the years, I’ve taught PreK-5 Special Education, 2nd and 3rd Grades. I’ve also been an Instructional Coach, Reading Specialist, and a Reading Interventionist. 

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Dance, from Auburn University (War Eagle!), two Master's Degrees from UAB (Go Blazers!), and I JUST completed all of my coursework for Instructional Leadership from Auburn University! Woohoo!

Fun Fact: I was a Varsity Cheer Coach for 8 years in Birmingham, and this year, I’ll be helping with the Basketball Cheer Team! Roar Lions ROAR!

Outside of school, I like to enjoy listening to live bands and local musicians, attending different events in the community, and exploring Huntsville with my dog, Milo.
