Wilkommen Liebe Leute! Welcome everyone!

My name is Eleanor Thompson, and I am so excited to teach German & Digital Publishing here at Liberty! I was born and raised in Carmel, Indiana, where my love for learning German began as a middle schooler and only grew from there. I moved to Florence, Alabama, where I went on to study and graduate from the University of North Alabama with my degrees in German and History Education. More recently, I had the opportunity last year to live and teach in Germany via a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship. I lived in Wittenberg (home of Martin Luther and his 95 Theses) and had an amazing time exploring Germany and experiencing more of the culture first-hand! 

In my free time, I love to read, watch movies, play board games, travel with friends and family, and getting to share German and Germany with others.

I am so excited to be here at Liberty and to get to know the students (and parents)!
