Art and Sculpture Syllabus

Hello! My name is Makenna Smith and this is my sixth year teaching at Liberty Middle School! I graduated from Athens State University with a Bachelor's degree in Art Education. Making art has, and always will be, my favorite pastime, but I do enjoy other activites such as watching movies, bike riding, and playing with my pug Nina.

We are going to have a great time in art class this year! We use many different materials in my art classes including acrylic paint, watercolors, pastels, charcoal, and many more! For my intermediate and advanced art classes you will need the following supplies:

1. handheld pencil sharpener 

2. handheld eraser 

3. sketchbook (preferably 8.5x11 or larger)
