Hello! My name is Makenna Smith and this is my eighth year teaching at Liberty Middle School! I graduated from Athens State University with a Bachelor's degree in Art Education. I also have a Master's Degree in Instructional Leadership. Making art has, and always will be, my favorite pastime, but I do enjoy other activites such as playing video games, playing tennis, and hanging out with my friends and family.

We are going to have a great time in art class this year! We use many different materials in my art classes including acrylic paint, watercolors, pastels, charcoal, and many more! For my intermediate and advanced art classes you will need the following supplies:

1. handheld pencil sharpener 

2. handheld eraser 

3. sketchbook (preferably 8.5x11 or larger)
