Mrs. Tabitha Odom

I am proud to serve the Liberty family as assistant principal. I enjoy working with teachers and other leaders in our school district to help ensure all Liberty’s students are fully prepared to make the most of any opportunity they encounter.

I am an alumni of the University of Alabama where I earned a degree in secondary English. I also earned a Master’s in school counseling and a school leadership certificate from the University of West Alabama. Since my time here as an educator in Madison City Schools, I earned the distinction of National Board Certified Teacher. I began my journey in education as an English teacher at Oak Mountain Middle School in the Shelby County Schools district before moving north to Madison.

I was raised in the small south Alabama town of Uriah just outside of Monroeville which left me with a great appreciation for fresh seafood and good storytelling. My family and I are also proud to be Madison City residents. My husband Dr. Brian Odom is currently the acting NASA Chief Historian, and our daughter Emma Clare is a junior at James Clemens.

Go Lions!
