Hello! I'm Mr. Merchant and I couldn't be more excited to start my first year of teaching here at Liberty Middle. I recently graduated from UA after many years dreaming of being a middle school teacher. I am thrilled to be teaching both Math 7 and STEM this year as I help encourage and grow students' love and interest in the worlds of science, technology, engineering, and math. I will also be coaching the boys' soccer team and cannot wait to continue building student-teacher relationships beyond the classroom, and helping these students grow in maturity and sportsmanship.I am a massive nerd for all things gaming and nerd-related, with some of my favorite hobbies being DND and video games.
