Hello! I am looking forward to seeing so many familiar faces at Liberty this year as the building-based Instructional Math Coach. The past 5 years, I have taught 5th grade AART, 5th grade math, and 3rd grade at Mill Creek Elementary. Before that, I taught 5th grade math in Murfreesboro and Memphis. I am so excited about this opportunity to continue my passion and love for math instruction by supporting teachers and students in their math classrooms.

I am from Memphis, TN and moved to Alabama in the summer of 2020. After graduating from UTC in 2013, I moved back to Memphis to begin my marketing career for Equifax as a Marketing Specialist. After 3 years in that role, I realized I was not following my passion of wanting to be a teacher and began my masters program at The University of Memphis (GO TIGERS GO!). As someone who loves learning, I graduated with my Ed.S in Educational Leadership from The University of Alabama in 2024.

In my free time, I enjoy being with my chocolate labardoodle named Lola, crafting, shopping, netflixing, sporting events, and traveling. Most days, though, you can find me with a coffee (or 2) in hand ready to take on the day. 

I am looking forward to this school year and supporting all things math at Liberty!
