Bob Jones High School had a great showing at the North Alabama Team Scholastic chess tournament on  October 26, 2019. The Bob Jones Blue Team of Michael Guthrie, Josh Lin, Victor Lundy, and Will Bao came in 1st placce and won the MCCL Team Cup. The Bob Jones White Team of Jenson Wilhelm, Aubteen Pour-Biazar, Hugh Mitchell, and Edward Calinsky placed 2nd! And the Bob Jones Red Team of Constance Wang, Puja Chopade, Kennedy Gore, and Neha Chopade won Top Female Team.
