Hello, my name is Ginger Ashford and will begin my 6th year on Bob Jones faculty. My husband and I moved to the area in August 2019. My younger daughter is a senior at Auburn (WAR EAGLE!), and my oldest graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was recently married. 

I was a journalist before I began my teaching career, working in print, radio and public relations. I earned my Master's degree in Teaching from Park University, Parkville, Missouri and am certified to teach Journalism, English, AP Literature and Special Education. Being married to a military man means I've had the pleasure of teaching in a variety of locations -- Leavenworth and Lansing, Kansas, as well as for the Department of Defense Education Activity in Stuttgart and Ramstein, Germany. This is my 15th year in education. 

I am excited to continue working with the students and families of Madison City. I believe that through strong communication, a dedicated desire to do the best for all students and a little bit of humor, it will be a successful year for all of us.
