I have lived in north Alabama for most of my life. I love this area, and I have enjoyed watching it grow and change over the years.

After finishing college, I accepted a position at Discovery Middle School, where I taught for 7 years. In addition to teaching math, I worked with the Chess Club/Team. When the 9th grade moved back into the high schools, I moved over to Bob Jones, and I have been here since. On May 30, 2023, I began working on my masters degree at UAH, and I anticipate completing that degree in May 2025.

I have two daughters, and they keep me pretty busy! We love spending time with our family (near and far). We enjoy listening to a variety of music, watching movies, and playing outside.
