I attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville and earned my bachelor's degree in Communication Arts and English and my master's degree in English Language Arts with a Class A Teaching Certificate. I recently earned the distinction of National Board Certified Teacher.
Experience
I have thirteen years of experience as a classroom teacher, and the 2024-2025 school year will mark my eleventh year working for Madison City Schools. I have experience teaching grades 6-12 and at the post-secondary level.
Biography
I have been married to my husband, Jason, for twenty years, and we have three wonderful children. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, gardening, going to theme parks, and spending time with friends and family. I look forward to a great year at Bob Jones High School and getting to know each of my students!
