The safety of our students is paramount to creating a safe school environment that is conducive to learning. Therefore, we have instituted a variety of safety measures that involve specific policies and procedures to ensure the welfare of your children. We routinely practice these safety protocols from fire drills to inclement weather drills in order to familiarize students with each procedure.
At Bob Jones High School, we have adopted a proactive approach to safety that focuses on building positive relationships with all of our students. In partnership with the Madison Police Department, our School Resource Officers (SROs) are instrumental in bridging the lines of communication among our students and aiding us in maintaining a safe learning environment.
The Madison City Police department has instituted a program called Text2Protect. Students and parents are encouraged to use this text line to report any safety threat. Simply text the details to the Text2Protect number 256-604-2345. Your text will remain confidential.
All reported concerns will be thoroughly investigated by our school's administration and our school's resource officer.
