    Greetings BJ Parents and Students,

    We now have 3 full weeks plus FINAL EXAMS remaining in this semester! Students need to focus & continue to work diligently in all of their classes. It is a goal to have EVERY student Finish Strong!

    BJ AFJROTC Raider Team competed at Grissom winning Girls Overall 2nd place & Boys Overall 1st place and an array of awards: Team Run- Girls 2nd & Boys 1st, CrossCountry Rescue Girls & Boys 2nd, Radar Fitness-Girls 3rd & Boys 2nd with Coed 3rd, Rope Bridge Girls 3rd & Boys 1st with Coed 3rd, TireFlip Girls 2nd & Boys 2nd with Coed 3rd, Obstacle Course Girls 2nd & Boys 2nd. Game On, BJ!

    BJ Girls Tennis had a really positive season this year and competed at State last week. Our team tied for 6th in State with many very close matches. So proud of our girls!

    BJ Baseball (34-10) will play in state quarter-finals after BJ varsity had an incredible 1st Round Playoff Series win over Thompson HS (2-6, 2-1, 7-6)!  After a 2 game split, our team came back from behind and won the 3rd game in the 8th inning. The series win places our team in the Elite 8 in state! BJ Baseball travels to 2nd Round Matchup at Hewitt Trussville HS on Fri DH 4:30 & 7:00 and if necessary, Sat for Game 3. Game On, BJ!

    BJ ESports: Corey Robinson will be competing for his 4th state championship in Madden on Monday! BJ Fusion will compete for their 8th straight state championship in Rocket League on Monday! Players are Luke Scherer, Jonah Brooks, Max Dunkerley & Rylan Barden. State Championships are at Huntington College this season.

    BJ Chess ESports won the National Central Region! Congrats to Andrew Yang, Xavier Bruni, Aadi Sexena, Landon Drummond, Robert Chatmon and Artem Starkenki. These students have qualified for a national competition!

    BJ Soccer Girls played a tough game falling short v JC 0-1.

    BJ Soccer Boys had a huge victory over JC 2-1!

    BJ Softball continues to play hard to prepare for the upcoming Area Tournament.

    BJ Track & Field will be competing at State this week in Gulf Shores! Go BJ!

    The Senior Checklist is a great tool to keep up to date on all senior information. 
    The senior breakfast and slideshow on May 2nd is for all seniors, not just those going on the trip to Six Flags.  
    The deadline to submit slides for the Senior Slideshow is Wednesday, April 30th. Click HERE for more information.

    May 19: Graduation Ceremony at 2:00pm at VBC, E-Learning Day for students

    May 20: Final Exams for 9th, 10th & 11th graders-1st & 2nd Blocks (Half Day for Students)

    May 21: Final Exams for 9th, 10th & 11th graders-3rd & 4th Blocks  (Half Day for Students)
