    Greetings BJ Parents and Students,

We have 2 weeks plus exam week remaining in our semester and school year!  This is an important time for student focus and academics! Advanced Placement (AP) Exams start on Monday and run for two weeks! Encourage your students to continue to prepare for these exams!

    Save the Dates:

    May 6-17: Advanced Placement Exams

May 20: Graduation at 6:00pm at VBC (E-Learning for all students)

    May 21 & May 22: Final Exams for 9th, 10th, and 11th graders

Adult Volunteer Proctors for our Advanced Placement (AP) testing in May are needed:

A proctor might be asked to read the exam administration script, help distribute or collect exam materials or accept responsibility for timing the exams and ensuring exam security.
Proctors may be asked to help with large group testing, or one-on-one accommodated testing.
You can not proctor an exam an immediate family member is taking. Please only commit yourself to one morning or afternoon shift the same day as the exams often overlap.
Training information for proctors will be sent via email prior to testing.
Please contact Amy Thaxton: if you have any questions. Thank you for helping support our students and teachers!

ALIVIA URRUTIA completed our state championships with the 400 Meter title & scored a 5th finish in the 200 Meter Dash.

The Boys finished an impressive 4th place! The Girls finished in 7th place (11 points shy of a Top 3 finish). The future is extremely bright as our team was led by only two Seniors; Jordan Urrutia & Jolissa Coe. This was truly one of our most successful Outdoor Seasons & with the number of experienced underclassmen returning, we are looking forward to continuing our championship run.

I am so proud of our Council of Presidents students & BJ clubs who worked diligently with our PTSA to organize, plan and implement this first annual MadFest on Saturday complete with games, inflatables, face painting, tons of food and much more!
