Mrs. Courtney Horton
Courtney Horton will begin her 18th year in Madison City Schools this year. This is her 7th year as Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction. Before Bob Jones, Mrs. Horton worked as an Instructional Partner at Liberty Middle School and taught regular and advanced English/Language Arts at Discovery Middle School. During her tenure at Madison City Schools, she has served on numerous committees, from scheduling to accreditation. She was able to coach volleyball and assist basketball cheer at Discovery Middle School. As instructional partner, Mrs. Horton was able to conduct professional learning sessions statewide, and was honored to be published in Dr. Jim Knight's book, Focus on Teaching. She and her husband live in Madison, Alabama, with their two daughters.
