Welcome to History!  My name is Amy Thompson and I teach AP World History and Modern World History.  I have been teaching for 15 years and have taught every Social Studies course except Psychology. My teaching experience has been both in private and public schools as well as in Kentucky and Alabama. 

I graduated from Campbellsville University with a B.S. in History and Political Science in 1994.  In 2010, I earned my Master's of Art in Teaching from Morehead State University. 

I have lived in Alabama since 2020 with my husband.  We have three children; Derek, Landen and Elly.  They are grown and flown now so we are enjoying empty nesting!! I love to travel, read, and continue learning.
