• The Bob Jones High School National Social Studies Honor Society (Newell Chapter) was chartered in 2013. This honor society seeks to recognize students who excel in the field of social studies. Students wishing to join must have a 4.0 (weighted) GPA in their social studies classes and a 3.5 overall. Additionally, students must have completed or be enrolled in at least one Advanced Placement social studies course. Applications are accepted in the Fall and the application will be available online.
