Mrs. Long is a graduate of  Alabama A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and the University of West Alabama with a Masters of Education in School Counseling. She holds an Alabama Professional Teaching Certificate in English Language Arts 7-12 and School Counseling K-12.

Experience

Mrs. Long has taught previously in Moss Point, Mississippi, Pensacola, Florida, and Huntsville City Schools.

Biography

Mrs. Long is a native of Courtland, Alabama and currently resides in Madison. She is married, has two daughters and a puppy named Bear. Mrs. Long has lived on the gulf coast for the past 10 years and recently moved back to what she calls home, North Alabama.  Mrs. Long loves writing, traveling, and spending time with her family.  She also really hopes to become a published author one day.  One of her favorite quotes that she takes with her and lives by in her career is by Maya Angelou, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."
