 Education:

Mrs. Gentry attended The University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Al (Go Blazers!) and earned her bachelor’s degree in Education. Additionally, she earned her master's degree in Collaborative Special Education  from The University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Al.

 Experience:

Mrs. Gentry has 6 years of experience as a classroom teacher teaching 7th and 8th grade science. She began her teaching career at Westbrook Christian School in Rainbow City, Al  as a 7th and 8th grade science teacher for 3 years and the remaining 3 years were spent teaching 8th grade physical science at Pleasant Grove High School in Pleasant Grove, Al. She has served one year as a 6th grade Earth & Space Science teacher at Discovery Middle School. This year Mrs. Gentry will be a Special Education/Collaborative teacher. She has been a collaborative SPED teacher for 6 years.

 Biography:

Mrs. Gentry is a native of Rainbow City, AL. She has been a resident of Madison since August of 2018. She recently got married to her husband, Josh(teacher & coach at Liberty Middle School). Some of her hobbies include reading,running, and playing with her dogs Milo & Otis. Mrs. Gentry has two children, Hudson and Evie.
