ESL Teacher

Education

Mrs. Cox attended The University of Tennessee, Chattanooga in Chattanooga, TN and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Social Sciences: History and Geography. She also has endorsements in ESL Pre-K - 12, English Language Literature and Composition Content Knowledge, Middle School English Language Arts, and Middle School Social Studies.

Experience

Mrs. Cox has taught in four states and six school districts since beginning her teaching career in 2011. Her experience includes reading and math interventionist, Title III Director, ESL Coordinator, Newcomer Program instructor, and K-12 ESL teacher. 

Biography

Mrs. Cox is originally from Tennessee, but has lived in Alabama, Florida and Colorado. She is married and has three cats; Tom-Tom, Smokey and Snickers. She loves being outdoors and watching cooking shows.
