Education

Mr. Hollingsworth attended Faulkner University in Montgomery, AL, where he earned a degree in Biology Education. Additionally, he earned a Master's Degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of West Alabama. He is currently working on his Educational Specialist Degree in Administration of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Experience

Mr. Hollingsworth has 8 years of successful experience in Science Education instruction and athletic coaching. He began his teaching career at Huntsville High School in 2016, teaching Biology, coaching football, basketball, and golf. He moved to Hamilton Middle School in 2017, teaching PLTW while coaching high school football and basketball. After spending 3 years coaching football at Murray State and Itawamba Community College, he got back into high school at Bob Jones. He has taught Astronomy, Biology, Earth & Space Science, and Environmental Science. He also served as head golf coach and offensive coordinator for the football team. 

Biography

Mr. Hollingsworth is a native of Hamilton, AL. He played football and golf while attending Faulkner University. After graduating from college, he spent a season in Finland playing football for the Helsinki Roosters.

He is married to Jordan Hollingsworth, an Operations Manager for a company in Huntsville, AL. They have a newborn son named Watson. In his free time, Mr. Hollingsworth enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and watching sports.
