• 2023 Bob Jones High School Summer School 

     

    Please view our Summer School Brochure and read all of the information below before requesting classes.

    Beginning May 1st, please use our Registration Form Link to request classes and then use our  Summer School Online Fee Payment Link to pay (if applicable)

    Upon completion of registration, you will receive a confirmation email.  Upon receipt of payment, you will receive a separate email.

     

    Five Summer School Learning Opportunities:

    1. Economics, Government, Health, Career Prep A, Career Prep B, Beginning Kinesiology (Life PE), and Full Credit Career Prep.

    • June 1-June 29

    • Online classes taught by Bob Jones HS teachers.

    1. ACCESS Online Credit Recovery classes for MCS students who failed a class with a grade of 40 or higher.  See our available ACCESS Classes.

    • June 1-June 29 (completion of course can be prior to June 29)

    • Students are encouraged to attend 1-4 days per week in our Learning Lab tutoring sessions (Math and English/Language Arts tutoring).

    • Labs are offered Monday-Thursday, (June 5-29) from 8:00-12:00, with bus transportation provided (if you register by April 14th at this link).

    1. ACCESS Online classes for MCS students for course credit due to failures with a grade of 39 or lower. See our available ACCESS Classes.

    • June 1-June 29 (completion of course can be prior to June 29 and students are allowed to continue working through July 20)

    • Students are encouraged to attend 1-4 days per week in our Learning Lab tutoring sessions (Math and English/Language Arts tutoring).

    • Labs are offered Monday-Thursday, (June 5-29) from 8:00-12:00, with bus transportation provided (if you register by April 14th at this link).

    1. Driver’s Education with face-to-face and in-vehicle instruction.  Only one session is required to earn the 0.5 class credit.  The first day of the session, students meet from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM in the AV room at BJHS.  The remaining instructional time will be driving appointments scheduled by the students and instructors.  When you pay for the class, please understand it is a 1/2 credit class but costs as much as a full credit class because of the additional expenses associated with Driver's Ed.  **** STUDENTS MUST HAVE A VALID LEARNER'S PERMIT AND DRIVING EXPERIENCE TO TAKE THIS SUMMER CLASS.

    • Three 2-week sessions of Driver's Education from which to choose: 

      • June 5-16, June 20-30, and July 10-21.

    1. ACT Bootcamp (no class credit earned): We will have one session offered June 5-8 for $150.  Strudents will meet from 8:00-12:00 at BJHS.
