I am a native to Alabama and attended high school in the small town of Killen. I have been teaching in Madison City for 20 years all of which have been at Bob Jones. I graduated from UNA in 2001 with a degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in General Science. In 2003, I received my Master's Degree in Secondary Science. I received my National Board Certification in 2018. I currently teach Genetics and Chemistry. My husband, Hesh, is an Engineering Manager at Lockheed Martin. I have two children. Evan will be in 9th grade at Bob Jones and Maya will be in 3rd grade at Columbia Elementary. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with my family. I also volunteer with Friends of Rescue and Felines and Canines Rescue Center. My family has been fostering dogs and cats through these organizations for 5 years. I absolutely love teaching at Bob Jones and am excited to meet new students each semester.
