• Students who auditioned for Advanced Theatre will be notified of their results on Friday March 21, 2025, via email in the afternoon.

  • Fine Arts opportunities in Drama at Discovery Middle School include the following courses:

    • Beginning Theatre
    • Intermediate Theatre
    • Advanced Theatre
    • Technical Theatre

    Beginning Theatre is an introductory class geared towards students who are curious about the theatre arts.  There is no public performance. 

    Intermediate Theatre requires Beginning Theatre as a prerequisite and does include a public performance after school.

    Advanced Theatre requires an audition. 

    Technical Theatre  requires Beginning Theatre as a prerequisite and involves working on all aspects of working backstage to produce a show including sound, lights, sets, props, etc. 

    Discovery Drama Departments also participates in the Trumbauer, Jr. Festival, offers a Drama Club , and Jr. Thespian Society membership,
