• Basketball Cheerleading

    The Discovery Middle School Basketball Cheerleading team is a group of 7th and 8th grade students, representing our school at basketball games and events.
     
    Being a part of the basketball cheer squad has many rewards. Valuable experiences include teamwork, determination, encouragement by peers, development of friendships, increased self-confidence, learning to set and meet individual short and long-term goals, and improving physical conditioning.
     
    Cheerleaders also gain school pride, spirit, and leadership qualities through their participation.
     
    All athletic forms must be turned in prior to tryouts: 
    • AHSAA physical form
    • Insurance form
    • Student release form
    • Concussion form
    • NFHS sportsmanship certificate
