WHO WE ARE

The Journey Middle School Cheer Team is on a "Journey to Excellence"! Our dedicated and passionate team of young athletes is proud to represent our school and energize the crowd at our school's basketball games.

OUR MISSION

We aim to inspire, unite, and empower our fellow students while promoting school spirit, sportsmanship, and teamwork. We strive to be role models on and off the field, emphasizing dedication, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence. We aim to create memorable experiences and lasting friendships through our performances and community involvement.

 The Journey Middle School Cheer Team is more than just a group of athletes; we are a family. We work tirelessly to master our routines and support each other every step of the way. Our journey to success is filled with hard work, determination, and the unwavering belief that we can achieve greatness together.

TRYOUTS

• Tryouts for the JMS Basketball Cheer team will be held on April 1-3 from 3:30 - 5:30 in the JMS SLC.
• All forms are due by March 13th in order to try out!
• Fill out the application and submit a copy of your physical on March 13th.

• REQUIREMENTS 

• -Updated physical required for tryouts

• - Copy of birth certificate

  -Application completed and submitted

  -Recommendation Forms from TWO teachers submitted

  -Tryout packet completed and submitted
