Hello, Journey Jaguars! My name is Kaitlyn Fleming, and I am very excited to be your English Language Arts teacher this year. I am from the nearby town of Athens, Alabama, but I have also spent plenty of time in Madison. I took many teaching career courses in high school, which helped solidify teaching as my passion at an early age. I remained near home while receiving my bachelor's degree in English Language Arts and Secondary Education from the wonderful Athens State University last fall.

 

My goal is to provide every student with the reading, writing, and communication skills needed for whatever great education and career their future may hold. 

 

Whenever I am not in the classroom, you can typically find me reading, writing, cross-stitching, or spending time with my Pomeranian, Hermione. If I am not doing any of the aforementioned things, then I will likely be with my little sister, who is also a middle schooler this year.
