Hi! My name is Elizabeth Jenkins, and I am very excited to start the 2025-26 school year. Some facts about me are that I graduated from Russellville City Schools in 2018, and I gained my associate's degree from Northwest Shoals Community College in 2020. I then graduated from the University of North Alabama in 2023 with my degree as a secondary education major with a focus on history. 

After having graduated, I substituted in the Franklin County area until obtaining my position here at Madison City Schools. Last year was my first year teaching, and I am so excited to be back at Journey for my second year and I cannot wait to share my love and passion for history! Last year I taught World History, Social Studies, Civics, and Geography. I also taught Intro to Chess and a STEM elective.

This year I will be teaching 8th grade World History and 6th grade Social Studies. I will also be a sponsor for TSA. Looking forward to an amazing year!!
