Welcome to Journey MIddle School!  

I am excited to be the Speech-language pathologist at JMS!  This is my second year at JMS.    I worked in Prattville, Alabama for 10 years before moving to Madison in 2019.  In those 10 years I worked in the Autaga County school system.  I worked with pre-school students all the way up to the high school level and worked at various schools.  

I was born in Montgomery.  I received my undergraduate degree from Auburn University in 2004 and I received my Masters degree from the University of Montelvallo in 2006.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and my two dogs.  I have two children, who both attend Madison City Schools.  In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, traveling, and playing tennis.  

For the 2024-2025 school year, it is my goal to improve my students' ability as well as their confidence to improve their communication skills across all educational skills as well as outside of the school setting.
