Hello JMS!  

My Journey to this school has been a very pleasant one.  I have a Biology degree and a Masters in Education from the University of South Carolina, and I have taught for 11 years.   I moved to Alabama and joined the Madison City family in 2020, and I brought my family with me to this wonderful city.  I have been married for 19 years and I have 2 kids, who are 7 and 10.  

My teaching philosophy revolves around my students.   I will try my best to help my students be successful in my classroom and prepare them for their future in education and science.  

I am excited to be a part of the team and to open this great school with such a great team of teachers!
