Hey Jags!! My name is Ms. Rhodes, and I teach 7th and 8th grade English here at Journey Middle School. This is my first year of teaching, and I am super excited to be in Madison. 

 I was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, but I was raised in Florence, Alabama. I graduated from Brooks High School in May 2020 (good ol covid times). I furthered my education at the University of North Alabama, where I received my bachelor's in Secondary Education ELA in December 2024. My future plan is to go back to UNA or Athens State to get my masters in Secondary Education ELA!

I have a dog named Rocket, who is my pride and joy. When I am not in the classroom, I drive back home to Florence and spend time with my amazing family. I enjoy watching Judge Judy, trying new food places, and cuddling with my dog. I am blessed to be a part of Journey Middle School, and I strive to make an impact on every child I come in contact with. I cannot wait to have a great year and love your kids. Go Jags!!
