Library Media Specialist

Education

Mrs. Miller attended the University of North Alabama in Florence, Alabama and earned her bachelor's degree in Secondary Education Spanish as well as a Middle School certification in Language Arts.  Additionally, she earned a master's degree in Library Media from the University of West Alabama.

Experience

Mrs. Miller has 19 years of experience as a classroom teacher and 4 years as a library media specialist.  She began her teaching career at Priceville High School as a Spanish teacher for one year.  She then worked as a Pre-K through 9th grade Spanish teacher at Riverhill School in Florence, Alabama for two years.  The remaining time has been spent teaching Spanish and Language Arts at Discovery Middle School.  She now loves working as a library media specialist.

Biography

Mrs. Miller is a native of Sheffield, Alabama. She is the proud mother of a beautiful daughter.  Some of her hobbies include reading, exercising, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
