Mrs. Miller attended the University of North Alabama in Florence, Alabama and earned her bachelor's degree in Secondary Education Spanish as well as a Middle School certification in Language Arts.  Additionally, she earned a master's degree in Library Media from the University of West Alabama.


Mrs. Miller has 16 years of experience as a classroom teacher.  She began her teaching career at Priceville High School in Priceville, Alabama as a Spanish teacher for one year.  She then worked as a Pre-K through 9th grade Spanish teacher at Riverhill School in Florence, Alabama.  The remaining 13 years have been spent teaching Spanish and Language Arts at Discovery Middle School.  


Mrs. Miller is a native of Sheffield, Alabama.  She has been a resident of Madison for 13 years.  She is married and is the proud mother of a beautiful daughter.  Some of her hobbies include reading, exercising, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
